La infame carretera que hasta hace 30 años unía -por decir algo- Cáceres y Badajoz aún deja ver algunos de sus antiguos tramos en un estado que evoca tiempos y lugares pasados. Mejor verlo de manera menos prosaica, no en vano, un puente cortado es realmente evocador
Qué mansa pena me da.
El puente siempre se queda y el agua siempre se va.
El puente de La Chunga recibe su nombre porque hace 50 años en este mismo punto tuvo un accidente una famosa bailaora, desconocida ahora pero que intervino en un par de películas de Hollywood, alternó con Ava Gardner (ahí queda eso) e inspiró a Picasso, Dalí, Rafael Alberti o Blas de Otero.
